Located near the NSW-Queensland border, Pindari Dam provides year-round opportunities for water sports and recreation. Nature lovers, swimmers, hikers, and thrill-seekers alike are sure to find something to enjoy.
A free camping site can be found just south of the dam wall. There are unpowered sites for caravans and camping, plus a modern amenities block with toilets and solar-heated showers. The dam’s camping ground is one to remember, offering panoramic views or the lake, rocky bluffs and bushland.
Things to do: Head out onto the water in a kayak or canoe, unwind with some shoreline fishing, enjoy a picnic or BBQ, get out on your jet skis, bring your camera and capture some great photographs, head out onto the main dam wall to appreciate the views, or enjoy a day out with your dog.
