Say goodbye to the rat race and take a drive along the picturesque roads of our region. Whilst the journey to any of our previously mentioned destinations will offer spectacular views of gorges, bushland, waterfalls, streams and wildlife, you may prefer to take a route mapped out by knowledgeable locals.
One such route is Tourist Drive 3, which travels from Inverell to Narrabri via Bingara, and traces the historic stomping grounds of miners, bushrangers, farmers and pioneers. It is signposted, so you don’t have to worry about getting lost and missing the sights.
Things to do: Set your own pace! You will be travelling through some of the most memorable landscapes of the New England High Country, North West and Northern Inland regions. Stop and enjoy the sights, and don’t forget to take a camera!
